Noserag
The college provides a good number of people for university-wide publications so it's no big surprise that the college newssheet is pretty good. The close community means that it is really easy to take the piss out of people and that's exactly what Noserag does.

A decent sized bar. The best characteristic is its friendliness.
Three organised functions per term and student bands get a reasonable shot at entertaining the punters, nothing to write home about though and more lively Brasenose students will find themselves looking elsewhere for wild entertainment.
A good biennial college ball with its own website. [/external/?http://www.brasenoseball.com http://www.brasenoseball.com]
The Boat Club is the university's oldest, strong in traditional field sports.

There are some self-catering facilities available but otherwise the food is OK. Accommodation is steeped in history, gravitas and draughts. No that's unfair, actually the accommodation is pretty good.
One of the most centrally located of all the colleges. The city of Oxford is beautiful, it's as simple as that. Even the addition of a few 60's monstrosities can't dampen the image that you are in a special place. Aside from the architecture there are some great places to shop and the combined student population is pretty high so there are plenty of student friendly places. There are pubs galore but hunt out the gems from the touristy crap. Start with The Purple Turtle for night spots, try the traditional student haunts of Parkend and Fifth Avenue. Like a pertner forced upon you against your will by insistent parents you will eventually grow to love and depend on them. Hardened clubbers will have to make the hour's train ride to London. 60 000 students has given all of Oxford's club DJ's the idea that nothing but cheese will do. Po Na Na is a favourite and does manage to raise itself occasionally. As a general rule drunkeness is the best way to appreciate the clubs in Oxford. For food you really should try the Mongolian Wok if you want to go out for a meal that just has that edge - everyone knows the Wok.
Given that most of the colleges have fairly limited social facilities for late nights, the local area is all there is for real night owls. You might well get bored quite quickly. If so then don't despair as London is not far and very accesible by both train and an excellent coach service called the Oxford Tube. It's inexpensive and convenient.
