The Spirit
Spirit is SOAS's student union magazine. It is published twice a term, which isn't very often in comparison with other unis, but includes interesting articles and features, from entertainment to politics.
Having appealled to older audiences in the past, The Spirit's editorial team have recently tried to create a younger, lighter image. It seems to be working, and they have even managed to retain useful sections on housing and lodgings. The website is an enjoyable read, and has interesting forwards and other bits and pieces. The Post
To compensate the post-graduates and more mature students for the lack of suitably mature content in The Spirit, a postgraduate publication, The Post, has been launched.
