- Bars:
- There are two bars, both of them being in the main SU building. The first is the main bar which is very friendly. The thing that marks out Lampeter is that staff use it aswell. Extra guilt for not going to lectures then. The second bar is in the extension. This was added quite recently and allows the union to put on more ambitious functions. Food wise Dewi's, also in the union building, is the place to go.

- Functions:
- The big thing at Lampeter is live music. Tuesday nights are when it all happens. Other than that there are functions three times a week. These are generally of the cheesy debauched variety.

- Major Social Events:
- There are three major balls every year.

- Clubs & Societies:
- Being Wales it is hardly surprising that Rugby is popular. Apparently around a quarter of those at Lampeter are involved with the rugby teams.
Along with rugby there is a range of clubs and societies to cater for most tastes including a Masquerade society and a Pagan society.
